This photo was taken in the gardens of the Palais Royale in Paris, where people sit around a pool and fountain to catch the sun. The garden is very formal, but in this image you see the beauty of the water moving, the sunbathers, the bicycle waiting under the tree.
To join in the weekly challenge look here! Other entries include: brothers,  fun, dog and cat, venice, skiers in the alps, night and day, frogs, barbed wire, cappadocia, redhat and sign,  moon and tree, and some from jo.
What a lovely shot! 🙂
thank you britten!

Ah, lovely spot to sit and watch the world go by.
it was perfect louise, a good place for hubby to sit and sketch while i rested and regrouped!
The sun comes out and people sit outside and enjoy it – what a beautiful place to take a rest 🙂
Good shot.
thanks colline, we aussies are usually trying to stay out of the sun so it amuses us to see others who are sun-deprived seeking it out!
You woul find great ammusement here in Toronto then. When the temperatures first reach the double digits after winter people begin wearing short sleeves with no jackets – even though there is till a chill in the air. It is almost as if they wish to hurry the advent of summer 🙂
i remember our first trip to england .. we arrived in april and there was a mild sunny day … the locals were out in the parks lying around half naked, they looked like great white whales to us sunburnt aussies!
Lovely !
thank you sanvar, so good of you to visit!

I see so many feeling in that photo. It looks so relaxing!
yes caroline, each person with their own interests, but mostly relaxing, we stayed in the cool shade, others sat in the sun, and all the time the fountain played, it was perfect after walking around the city!
Nice photo. I like the contrasts.
