Weekly Photo Challenge: Two Subjects

This photo was taken in the gardens of the Palais Royale in Paris, where people sit around a pool and fountain to catch the sun. The garden is very formal, but in this image you see the beauty of the water moving, the sunbathers, the bicycle waiting under the tree.

      • You woul find great ammusement here in Toronto then. When the temperatures first reach the double digits after winter people begin wearing short sleeves with no jackets – even though there is till a chill in the air. It is almost as if they wish to hurry the advent of summer 🙂

      • i remember our first trip to england .. we arrived in april and there was a mild sunny day … the locals were out in the parks lying around half naked, they looked like great white whales to us sunburnt aussies!

    • yes caroline, each person with their own interests, but mostly relaxing, we stayed in the cool shade, others sat in the sun, and all the time the fountain played, it was perfect after walking around the city!
